The Final Fantasy franchise has some of the most fanatical fans in existence. They are so loyal and committed to Square Enix’s JRPG mega-sellers that an entire spin-off industry has been created to satiate their needs. Final Fantasy fans buy books, CDs, figurines, key chains, perfumes, energy drinks, dongles, stuffed toys – in fact anything if it’s part of the Final Fantasy brand. That gives you an idea of just how dull Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within is. Even the Final Fantasy faithful turned their collective nose up at it.
