Christoph Waltz

He (born 1956) is an Austrian-German actor. He is best known for his works with American filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, receiving acclaim for portraying SS-Standartenführer Hans Landa in Inglourious Basterds (2009) and bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz in Django Unchained (2012). Born in what is now the Czech Republic and raised in Vienna, Freud revolutionized psychology with his theories on the unconscious mind, dreams, and human behavior. When Nazi Germany annexed Austria in 1938, Freud, who was Jewish, fled to London, where he spent his final year.

His influence continues to resonate not only in psychology but also in literature, art, and popular culture. A pioneer of modern art, Klimt co-founded the Vienna Secession, breaking away from traditional artistic conventions. Though he rarely traveled, his work quickly spread abroad. Today, masterpieces such as The Kiss and Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I hang in museums in New York, Vienna, and Tokyo, representing Austria’s artistic sophistication to the world.
