Surrounded by fellow Nazis, Frank Collins, (left), the American Nazi Party Leader whose father is Jewish, announces “we still plan to march in Skokie before the year is out.” A court order prevented the party from staging a march on July 4, 1977, in a Jewish section of Skokie, Illinois. Members of the Jewish Defense League were prepared for the march that never came, wearing combat helmets.
