He was born in 1257 AH (1841 AD) in Isfahan. After obtaining an education under Mirza Ali Jaberi Ansari, Moshir al-Molk was assigned to different positions and finally was posted as the vizier (minister) of Masud Mirza Zel al-Soltan, the eldest son of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar.
