Turan Amir Soleimani who was third wife of Reza Shah

Turan (Qamar al Molouk) Amirsoleimani, was related to the Qajar dynasty deposed in 1925 in favor of Reza Shah. More specifically, she was the daughter of a Qajar dignitary, Issa Majd al Saltaneh. She was also the granddaughter of Majd ed-Dowleh Qajar-Qovanlu Amirsoleimani, Naser al Din Shah’s maternal cousin.

It’s also important to recognize that in Iranian history—especially during the late Qajar and early Pahlavi periods—many individuals, particularly women, were not extensively documented despite playing meaningful roles in their communities. As a result, figures such as Turan Amirsoleimani may represent a broader category of influential yet under-recorded individuals whose contributions remain partially obscured.
