After the Islamic Revolution, he left Iran in 1983 at the age of 18. In his personal Instagram page he mentions that he ran away from Iran. Fashion design, interior design, & mural painting became his main profession. Perhaps what let to Behzad’s career in entertainment started when he recorded a Persian traditional music album in 1990.
