As a matter of fact, this is the only kind of cinema that managed to convince me to become a fan of it with its unique cinematic style. Since I watched my first Iranian film, I systematically started investigating several persian movies mainly of Kiarostami and Makhmalbaf’s movies. Although persian New Wave cinema, especially after the Islamic Revolution (1979), has accepted a plenty of restrictions and censorship, persian directors were not discouraged and managed to create a new visual language in order to convey messages to the audience.
