Morteza Talaie (born 1957) is a retired commander of the Police forces. He was appointed as capital’s Police forces commander in 2000 and was commander until he retired in 2005.After his retirement, he nominated himself as a candidate in 2006 local elections and was elected as capital’s city councilman. He was elected as the council’s vice chairman on 3 September 2013.
