Mehrdad Ghodoussi is a businessman and financier. He became co-owner of Newcastle United in October 2021, after the successful takeover, ending Mike Ashley’s 14-year ownership of the club. He is married to Amanda Staveley.Ms Staveley and Mr Ghodoussi met with children and teenagers enjoying Newcastle United Foundation’s visually impaired disability football club in NUCASTLE’s sports hall, learning more about the young people who engage with free, supervised sports sessions each week at the centre.
