Farrokh Negahdar who is a leftist political activist


Farrokh Negahdar is one of the most credible and demanded political analysts on persian domestic and foreign politics and policies. Farrokh Negahdar is graduated form the University of London. He is awarded BSc in Economics and Politics and two masters, in Public Policy and Education. The Majority (OIPFM) — led by Negahdar, which adopted a pragmatic approach, supporting certain revolutionary policies while advocating for reform and democratic participation.

The Minority (OIPFG) — which rejected cooperation with the Islamic Republic and continued underground armed resistance. Negahdar’s OIPFM sought to influence future through peaceful engagement, but by the early 1980s, the government’s crackdown on leftist groups forced many into exile. Since 1983, Farrokh Negahdar has lived in exile — primarily in the United Kingdom — yet exile became for him not an end, but a new phase of intellectual rebirth.
