In 1343, Ahmadi, together with Nader Ebrahimi, Ismail Nouri Alaa, Mehrdad Samadi, Mohammad Ali Sepanlou, Bahram Beizaei, Akbar Radi, Jafar Koshabadi, Maryam Jazayeri, and Jamila Dabiri, founded the Tarafa group with the aim of defending the art of the new wave. The publication of two issues of Tarafa magazine and a number of books in the fields of poetry and fiction have been among the activities of this group.
