In this same workshop, Kechoi met Mohammad Bokharai, and through him, he was attracted to the Mutalfa Islamic Party. Later, he participated in the religious meetings and lesson sessions of Khamenei, Beheshti, and Motahari in Ansar Al-Hussein Board and the Arabic classes in Maktab al-Qur’an Board. In the same period, he met Ezzat Shahi and started his political activity.Ezzat Shahi writes in his memoirs that he and Kechui many times disrupted the speeches of Javad Manaqbi, whom they considered a court cleric, and his car (while the driver Manaqbi was sitting in it) was set on fire.
