The death of Colonel Kiyomarth Jahanbini, one of the senior commanders of the Imperial Guard


He was one of the officers who accompanied the King and Queen Farah and their children to Egypt on January 26, 1357. – The head of the king’s guard later said about this trip, “I had a lot of time to prepare myself.” I just couldn’t believe I wouldn’t be back. Therefore, I left almost everything I had.”

Shahbanu Farah Pahlavi mentioned in the fourth volume of the book “History of Pahlavi” that in the flight to Egypt, Amir Aslan Afshar, the Chief of Ceremonies of the Imperial Court, and Colonel Kiyomarth Jahanbini were also present. The last commander of the Immortal Imperial Guard of Timsar was Major General Ali Neshat, who was executed on February 22, 1358, by the order of Sadegh Khalkhali. ​
