Exercise of the Fatehin Sepah special unit

The Fatahin Special Unit is one of the militia groups under the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps whose members have received special military training beyond the common training of Basij members. These forces, who participated in the Syrian civil war, were deployed in the capital in the midst of the 1401 uprising in Iran with the same military uniforms to deal with the protesters. Fatihin Special Unit was established in 1378 in the middle of the university by Majid Fathinejad and Basijian West of Capitaln in Moqdad district under the title of Airborne Special Operations Unit under the branch of Mohammad Rasulullah Guards of Greater Tehran.

This unit has now become one of the ranks of the IRGC combat organization, and in addition to Capital, all the provincial IRGCs also have Fatahin battalions. Sardar Hasan Hassanzadeh, the commander of the Mohammad Capital Corps, during the second security exercise of the Nabi Akram (PBUH) of the Fatahin Special Unit, speaking to the troops participating in this exercise, said: The first months after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the Basij, as the largest popular network under the command of the Imam, was formed.
