A Buddhist woman from Thailand became a Muslim by performing martyrdom in the holy shrine of Razavi and chose the name Maryam for herself.According to Ferraro, citing Astan Quds Razavi, in a ceremony, a 32-year-old woman from Thailand converted to Islam after years of research and study and chose Shiism.
