The first journalist executed after the revolution

In the early years after World War II, Simon Farzami and his brother David went to Iran to meet their godfather, Abolhasan Hakimi, and at the same time, both of them were employed by Pars News Agency due to their command of English and French. Pars News Agency was established in 1313 by order of Reza Shah Pahlavi. David Farzami passed away very soon, but due to his mastery of several foreign languages, Simon worked in various departments of the Persian government. Among other things, at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Italy, he was the leader and flag bearer of the Persian sports convoy. He, who was an employee of the Ministry of Information and Tourism, also played a role in establishing the Capital Philharmonic Orchestra and cooperated with various international media as a reporter based in Capital.
