Abbas Ramzi Atai (born in Khoramshahr in 1307 and died on November 4, 1397, in America) was an admiral of the Imperial Navy and the commander of that force from Mehr 13, 1351, to January 17, 1354. After being dismissed and arrested on charges of financial corruption in 1354, his military rank was also taken away. On March 2, 1354, he was stripped of his rank and sent to prison in a military court for the crimes of bribery, abuse, and embezzlement. In April 1357, shortly after his release from prison, he permanently immigrated to the United States of America. Abbas Atai was born in 1307 and was the fourth of five sons in his family.
