With the start of the Iran-Iraq war, the empty place of exciting and effective hymns in creating an epic atmosphere was felt among the people, and the need to excite the youth to attend the battle fronts and raise the spirit of resistance in the people caused musical works to be broadcast on radio and television.  These works were presented with themes such as defense of the country, honoring the dead of war, and anti-Westernism, and in terms of form, in the form of laments, revolutionary hymns, and military marches.
