In the case of the fire, the owner of the building, the municipality, and the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare were introduced as the culprits in the maintenance of the structure, but there were also speculations about the occurrence of a planned explosion in the building. Shortly after the collapse of the building, the construction of the new Plasco began, and in December 2019, it was announced that the new Plasco would start its work in May 1400. The parking lot and the permit for the construction of this new structure were among the disputes between Capital Municipality and the Mustafafan Foundation.
