The first Plasko, with a height of 42 meters when it was built in 1341, was the tallest building in Capital and was considered one of the first skyscrapers in Capital, along with the AluminPlasco Building is a commercial building at the intersection of Capital and Istanbul. Plasko’s first building was referred to as the first skyscraper and modern building in the Middle East. This 17-story building with a metal frame, which was opened in 1341, was one of the most important centers of clothing production and sales in Capital. On Thursday, January 30, 2015, after 54 years of construction, this building collapsed due to fire, and 560 commercial units were destroyed in it.
