Amir Hajrezaei (born in 1325) is a former football player as well as a retired football commentator and coach. Tayyab Hajrezaei, his uncle, is also one of the well-known figures in the August 28 coup that was executed during the Pahlavi period. In the 1350s, Hajrezaei was active as a player in Tehran’s Kian, Railway, Electricity, and Machine Building teams in the Takht Jamshid Cup competitions.
On November 11, 1342, Tayeb Hajrezaei was handed over to the death squad. He was once a member of Bezen Bahadur in Tehran; because of his support for Khomeini, he was exposed to snipers at night and was killed. But what happens when such a character, according to his own words, becomes a buyer of Khomeini? In the following, we talk to “Amirhaj Rezaei,” a veteran football expert in our country, to tell us about his uncle Tayyab Haj Rezaei. Before starting to speak, Hajrezaee likes to remind us of a lasting sentence from his uncle. He says, “First of all, I want to say that when Haj Tayyeb’s court was formed, he said a lasting sentence that will never be erased from my mind.
