At the same time that he was the Secretary General of the Homeland Women’s Organization, he realized the lack of experts in the fields of preschool education, counseling, and family welfare, and this encouraged him to prepare for the establishment of Shemiran High School after completing his two-year term of responsibility.
Upon returning in the early 1960s, Dr. Redjali became a professor of psychology at the National University (Daneshgah-e Melli-ye)—making her one of the first female professors in the country. Her appointment represented a landmark achievement for women in higher education. Between 1969 and 1971, she served as Secretary-General of the Women’s Organization of Iran (WOI) under the leadership of Princess Ashraf Pahlavi. During this period, she played a crucial role in designing and implementing programs for women’s literacy, vocational training, family welfare, and child development.
