For the first time, he won a bronze medal in the national championship in the open category in 1332 in Isfahan in the 6th weight, and in 1333, he was selected for the national team in the weight of 73 kilos and went to the national team. And in the second round of the World Championships in 1954 in Tokyo, together with Mahmoud Molaqasmi, Mohammad Mahdi Yaqoubi, Nasser Giwehchi, Tawfiq Jahanbakht, Abbas Zandi, Gholamreza Takhti, and Ahmad Fafadar, they formed the national team, and finally, in this tournament, the team won two gold medals.
