Mohammad Taqi Boshoor (1303–1390), known as “Haji Boshoor,” was one of the successful entrepreneurs before the revolution. He is known as the father of Homeland’sindustries. Abbas Milani listed him as one of the 100 most influential contemporary Persians. At first, he was an importer of Schaub Lawrence batteries and televisions, but after that, he set foot on the road to production with the establishment of Pars Power Factories (the first battery producer in Homeland), Pars Electric (the first television producer in Homeland), and many other factories. His important economic activities continued in Iran until 1357. Then, during the confiscations at the beginning of the revolution, all factories and privileged properties were confiscated and given to the Mustafafan Foundation.
