According to Iranian sources, its range is 2000 km. Also, the wingspan of this drone is 2.5 meters. The design of this drone was done by Shahid Aviation Industries, but the company that manufactures it is Hesa. The price of this drone has been estimated at 20,000 to 50,000 euros for each plane, according to various estimates. Kontron, later renamed Denel Dynamics, developed the ARD-10 unmanned aerial vehicle for the South African Defense Force in the 1980s, but it did not enter service when the South African border wars ended. Kontron sold the designs to Israel Aerospace Industries, which used them to develop the Harpy drone, which was first tested in 1989. These designs were sold to the Homeland Aviation Industries Organization in 2004/5 and were used by Shahid Aviation Industries to develop Shahid 131 and Shahid 136.
