This branch is the only branch of pilot that accepts students through the nationwide exam of universities and higher education centers and its students are trained at Shahid Sattari University of Aviation Sciences and Technology. The purpose of this department is to train air forces necessary for the Islamic Republic. It should be noted that due to the affiliation of this university to the Islamic Republic, students are considered a military student from the moment they arrive and eventually graduate as an engineer officer or expert. The conditions for accepting these candidates are very strict and the person must be approved in terms of physical, political and ideological health.
