In the following, we see another match where one of the national team players asks his teammate to take the free kick instead of him. This is a recreation of Nasser Mohammadkhani’s famous goal against Japan and the story of his criticism by the technical staff after the end of the game, because Hossein Mesgarsaravi (and not Morteza Fanonizadeh, as it is said in the film) was supposed to take the free kick. Of course, the director did not mention the names of any of the outlaw stars of Persian football in that tournament, and while all the evidence shows that the Persepolis striker, who will join the Qatar team after the Asian Games, is Nasser Mohammad Khani, he is mentioned as a success.
