The first female journalist who interviewed Khomeini

Noshabeh Amiri entered the world of media at a very young age. Born in 1952, she was only 10 years old when she began her journey in radio in 1961 (1341 in the Persian calendar). Her childhood involvement in radio helped her develop her voice and communication skills early on, which would later serve her well in both her dubbing and journalistic careers.

In the 1960s, radio was one of the most popular mediums in Iran, with many families gathering around their radios to listen to news, entertainment, and educational programs. Amiri’s smooth and clear voice was perfect for radio, and she quickly became a familiar voice on children’s programs. Her work in radio would eventually pave the way for her to break into other areas of media, including television and film dubbing.

By the time she was 18 years old, Noshabeh Amiri had already established herself as a professional in the radio industry. In 1970 (1349 in the Persian calendar), she transitioned into the world of dubbing, a field that would bring her widespread fame and recognition.
