Ahmad Ali Masoud Ansari is Farah Pahlavi’s cousin

Life After the Legal Battles

Despite the legal and financial fallout from his relationship with Reza Pahlavi, Ahmad Ali Masoud Ansari remained a prominent figure within the Iranian diaspora. He continued to live in Great Falls, Virginia, a wealthy suburb of Washington, D.C. His involvement in various real estate ventures persisted, and he maintained ties with influential individuals within the Iranian exile community.

In the years following the court rulings, Ansari published several books, including works that sought to discredit the Pahlavi family. His first book, published in 1996, became a tool used by the Islamic Republic’s media to further tarnish the royal family’s image, with 100,000 copies reportedly printed in Iran. Farah Pahlavi, in the documentary “From Capital to Cairo,” accused Ansari of approaching the family with the intent of exploiting their vulnerable position for personal gain.
