Final Days and Passing
Parviz Shahriari passed away at the age of 86 on May 12, 2012, due to respiratory problems. He died in Jam Hospital in Tehran, and his funeral was held later that day. Friends and admirers gathered to pay their respects as he was laid to rest in the Qasr Firuzeh Zoroastrian Mausoleum in eastern Tehran.
