Medical Students Flock to Aminabad: A New Chapter in Psychiatric Education

The Aminabad Psychiatric Hospital, under the leadership of Dr. Rezaei since 2014, is undergoing significant transformations. Among the many initiatives envisioned by Dr. Rezaei, the integration of medical students into the hospital’s training program stands out as a pivotal step toward enhancing psychiatric education.

The Arrival of Medical Students

Dr. Rezaei has confirmed that an agreement with Islamic Azad University has been established to facilitate the arrival of medical students and interns at Aminabad Psychiatric Hospital starting this year. This collaboration will allow students specializing in various medical and psychological fields to gain hands-on experience in psychiatric care.

“We are excited about this partnership, as it will bring fresh perspectives and youthful energy into our hospital,” Dr. Rezaei stated. “This initiative will provide students with a unique opportunity to work in a real-world psychiatric setting, preparing them for their future careers.”

Beyond medical students, the hospital is also set to welcome students from psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, and social work programs. This interdisciplinary approach aims to provide comprehensive training while improving patient care and support.
