Manouchehr Azari (born July 23, 1943) is an Iranian actor and voice actor known for his significant contributions to Iranian radio, television, and dubbing. Throughout his decades-long career, he has played a prominent role in shaping Iranian comedy and entertainment.

Early Life and Education

Manouchehr Azari graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1966, specializing in acting and directing. His passion for the performing arts led him to further study theater and acting under some of the most esteemed figures in Iranian theater, including Abbas Javanmard, Bahram Beizaei, and Nosrat Karimi. Additionally, he trained under Mehdi Forough and Parviz Shershi, further honing his skills as an actor and performer.

Career Beginnings

Azari’s journey into the world of entertainment began in 1975 when he made his first appearance on radio with the renowned Hassan Khayatbashi. This initial exposure paved the way for his participation in other radio programs, such as Shama and Radio, where he worked alongside legendary Iranian artists like Hamid Ghanbari, Ezzatollah Moghbali, Morteza Ahmadi, and Taji Ahmadi.
