Golab Adineh: A Life in Art
Born Golab Mosta’an on November 13, 1953, in Tehran, she is the daughter of the renowned novelist Hossein Gholi Mosta’an. Raised in a household steeped in literature and culture, Golab Adineh seemed destined for an artistic life. While she formally studied political economy at the National University of Iran, her passion for performance led her to the stage in the mid-1970s. Her early involvement in the student theater group “Paideh,” under the direction of figures like Mehdi Hashemi and Dariush Farhang, launched a career that would span decades and cross multiple mediums.
