On the evening of Saturday, September 5, 2025, the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra marked its 100th anniversary with a concert held at the Persepolis World Heritage Complex, one of Iran’s most iconic historical sites. The orchestra performed a repertoire that included the enduring patriotic piece “O Iran”, alongside Armenian and international symphonic works. The event, attended by high-ranking Iranian and Armenian officials, diplomats, cultural figures, and a diverse audience, resonated deeply as a symbol of peace, friendship, and intercultural dialogue.
This celebration went beyond music: it represented a bridge between two ancient civilizations, a demonstration of soft diplomacy, and a reaffirmation that art and culture transcend politics. The concert was organized in cooperation with the Deputy of Artistic Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the Fars Governorate, the Fars Directorate of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts of Fars Province.
