Disillusioned with Oveisi’s hesitation and what he described as “betrayal of the Shah,” Khosravani eventually distanced himself from the group. Unlike some other exiles who adapted to the new geopolitical realities, Khosravani remained unwaveringly loyal to the Pahlavi cause, even as it became increasingly marginal in Iranian political discourse.
Later Life and Death
In exile, Khosravani settled in London, where he spent the remainder of his life. He remained active in the Pahlavi exile community, attending gatherings, offering interviews, and supporting monarchist cultural organizations.
Despite his political frustrations, he continued to take pride in his contributions to Iranian sports, particularly his role in developing Taj into a symbol of modern Iranian athleticism. His brother Ataullah also lived in exile, maintaining close ties with him.
On August 18, 2015, Parviz Khosravani passed away in London at the age of 92. His death marked the end of an era for the Pahlavi-era sports and political establishment.
