The Japanese animated series Ikkyū-san, known in Iran as Ikyusan, became one of the most iconic international cartoons broadcast on Iranian television. Narenjiha voiced the humorous and charming Chiki Yuya (Chico Ya), a character known for his lively personality and distinctive cadence. The way Narenjiha infused Persian humor into the character’s dialogue made Chiki Yuya unforgettable for a generation of children who grew up watching the show in the 1980s.
Brave Boy (Dokhtar-e Shuja)
Another memorable performance came in the Japanese animated series often referred to as Brave Boy. In this program, Narenjiha voiced the character of the Doctor’s Goat—a comedic yet important role that required precise timing and vocal creativity. His interpretation of the goat, combining exaggerated sound effects with humorous tone shifts, resonated strongly with young audiences and demonstrated his versatility.
