Ambassador Bill White

 

Prior to his ambassadorship, White was known for significant political fundraising and philanthropic activity in the U.S., supporting both military causes and political candidates across the spectrum before aligning more recently with conservative circles. In 1992, White joined the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum in New York and eventually became its president, leading the organization for many years.

Bill White currently serves as the United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium. Ambassador White has dedicated his career to honoring, advocating for, and supporting our nation’s military personnel, veterans, and their families.  He served as President and CEO of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, and the Intrepid Relief Fund, where he led operations, strategic planning, and fundraising efforts totaling over $1.5 billion.
