Ukraine continued its Ramadan iftar

As the evening concluded, guests shared a traditional meal to break the fast and continued conversations about cooperation, resilience, and hope for the future. For many attendees, the event was not only a moment of reflection during a sacred month but also a powerful reminder that unity among Ukraine’s diverse communities remains central to the nation’s strength and determination.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine’s diversity is one of its greatest strengths. In his remarks, he spoke about the importance of mutual respect among religious communities and praised Muslim volunteers, soldiers, doctors, and aid workers who have helped support civilians affected by the conflict. According to Ukrainian officials, many Muslim organizations have been deeply involved in providing food, shelter, medical assistance, and evacuation support for families displaced by the war.
