In 2015, Kordestani left Google to become Executive Chairman of Twitter, where he worked closely with CEO Jack Dorsey during a period of organizational transformation. His appointment was viewed as a strategic move to strengthen Twitter’s leadership and business operations. He served as Executive Chairman until 2020 and remained on the company’s board until 2022.
