In 1993, Javad Esfanjani emigrated from Iran to Japan. His move marked a major turning point in his personal life. Although he initially intended to continue his wrestling career in his new country, his professional circumstances eventually led him in another direction.
After arriving in Japan, he established a business and opened a restaurant. He also married a Japanese woman, and together they built a family in Japan.
His decision to move abroad meant that his life followed a different path from the one he had originally imagined as a young wrestler. Instead of pursuing wrestling at a professional level, he concentrated on establishing a livelihood and raising his children.
Nevertheless, his interest in wrestling never disappeared. Even though he was no longer pursuing his own athletic ambitions, he remained committed to the sport and eventually introduced his children to it.
This decision became particularly important for Arashi Yoshida and his brothers. Through their father’s experience, they were exposed to wrestling at an early age and developed an understanding of the sport within their own family environment.
