In the early 1950s, a new cabaret was added to the vibrant nightlife scene of the capital’s discos, called Labohem. The original owner of the cabaret is not clearly documented, but it quickly gained popularity among the city’s entertainment venues. The cabaret became a go-to spot for those seeking a lively atmosphere, music, and dance performances that reflected the cultural zeitgeist of the era.
Over time, Labohem cemented its place in the city’s nightlife, attracting patrons from various walks of life. In 1351 (1972 in the Gregorian calendar), the cabaret underwent a significant change in ownership when it was purchased by Kors Sarhangzadeh, along with the famous singers Heideh and Mehsti. This acquisition marked a turning point for the establishment, as it now had the backing of well-known figures in the Iranian music industry.
