Early Life and Education
Born on January 1, 1924, Nosratollah Karimi completed his early education at the Tehran Industrial Conservatory before receiving his secondary diploma from the Acting Conservatory. From 1938 to 1944, he studied performing arts, make-up, and stage design at the only theater school in Tehran. His dedication to the craft led him to work in various theaters as an actor, make-up artist, and stage designer from 1939 onward.
Career in Theater
Karimi’s career in theater took off when he joined the Nooshin Theater Group in 1944. Over the next eight years, he performed in numerous plays, including The Chocolate Seller’s Daughter and Eugénie Grande. His work with the group established his reputation as a versatile and talented actor.
