It was incredibly meaningful to see a sold-out theater last night for the Los Angeles premiere of and to have the privilege of moderating the post-screening Q&A with our talented cast and filmmakers. I’m especially grateful to the many American actors, filmmakers, artists, and community leaders who joined us in support. Your presence meant so much. Seeing our creative community come together to champion meaningful storytelling and celebrate one another was one of the highlights of the evening.
My heartfelt thanks to the filmmakers, producers, cast, and everyone whose passion and perseverance brought this important and first of its kind film to life. At a time when so many stories from remain untold or misunderstood, films like this play an important role in fostering understanding, empathy, and dialogue.
