Richard Milhous Nixon
He (January 9, 1913 – April 22, 1994) was an American politician who served as the 37th President of the United States from 1969 until his resignation in 1974, when he became the only U.S. president to resign from office. He had previously served as a U.S. Representative and Senator from California and as the 36th Vice President of the United States from 1953 to 1961 under the Presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower.
