The Khomeinists threw out the call for social justice, but none of them, including their Leader, were never that much interested in it anyway. Neither they nor their Leader, Grand Ayatollah Ruhollah Moussavi Khomeini, were ever shy at using pseudo-populist rhetoric to better position themselves against their rivals.
