The company, founded by brothers Aḥmad and Maḥmud Khayami with an initial capital of 100,000,000 Rls, and later directed by Maḥmud Khayami alone. Established in August 1962, it was the single pioneer of the automotive industry in homeland, assembling and manufacturing various motor vehicles, including buses, mini-buses, passenger cars, and their spare parts and components.
