Grace Kelly’s wedding dress was beyond gorgeous. It was designed by Helen Rose of MGM and 3 dozen people who continued to work on it for more than a month. It’s cited as one of the most elegant bridal gowns of all time.Even now, as the dress is displayed in the Philadelphia Museum of Art, it’s reported to be the most popular exhibit there.This metal object was a copper penny that was sewn into Kelly’s right shoe. Experts believe it was put there for luck. The Princess decided to keep the tradition of hiding a coin deep inside the shoes and apparently asked the shoe-maker to conceal it from everybody’s eyes.
