He worked with another Persian poet, Nader Naderpour, for about 10 years in the “Iranian National Radio and Television Literary Group”. After the revolution, Chalangi also collaborated with Shamlou in the publication of “Kitab Juma” and continued his journalistic activities in Cairo for 20 years after that. After establishing Radio Farda and before starting cooperation with the “Iran Farda” TV channel, he hosted the Farsi section of Voice of America for six years.
