IRIB’s headquarters are located in capital. There are 32 IRIB centres in the provinces and 20 offices abroad. Over 30,000 employees work at IRIB. It operates eight nationwide television channels using terrestrial television transmitters for national coverage. IRIB also uses satellite feeds on Chinasat 12, 87.5°E as input signals to TV stations.
