During that time, she received a Gold Medal for “defending women’s rights” from persian Women’s Organization (1969), the Best Prize in Reporting and the News Coverage of the famed 2500-Year Anniversary Festival of the Persian Empire, from Zan-e Rouz Magazine (1971), and a Scholarship and Cash Prize as an Outstanding Student from the University of Tehran (1971-72).
